About the TAC and Skip Daum
Skip has collected art for 25 years… mostly sculptures and acrylics. After graduating Emerson College in Boston in 1967 with a BA in English, he served as a USAF Navigator flying airborne tankers and the giant C5 cargo plane internationally.
He then founded Capitol Communications Group, a legislative advocacy firm in Sacramento serving dozens of not-for-profit organizations for 50 years. After months touring Western States and 24 galleries, he landed in Sedona… the “art mecca” as he calls it. He is now a permanent resident and volunteers at the Heritage Museum. He also serves on the Sedona Historical Society Board of Trustees.
He formed the The Artists Consortium this year and decided to create the first-ever Sedona Sculptors Symposium. Other art forms will be featured in future events.
